METALLIC HAIR STUFF.
Okay, first off. I saw on the news today the Kevin Dubrow died this weekend. He was the lead singer for Quiet Riot. I don’t really have anything to say, except that the first two cassette tapes I ever owned in my life were Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and Metal Health by Quiet Riot, both of which I received on my ninth birthday, and only one of which which I still enjoy to this very day. In fact, one of them, I am enjoying just this very moment. (There is not a moonwalk in sight, my friends.)
On a similar note, if you have iTunes, run immediately and search for the Twisted Sister Christmas album A Twisted Christmas. If you don’t have iTunes, try sampling at Amazon.com. It’s absolutely the best Christmas album ever. Hearing is believing, but if hearing is not enough, I also see that Amazon.com has a DVD concert version!
On a side note, which I am lifting from a reply I left on Cory’s blog, the most amazing football statistic I have ever seen, I saw Sunday: that the all-time record for return touchdowns is 13, held by some guy (I thought it was Eddie Kennison, but research tells me it was Brian Mitchell) who did it over the course of a career spanning approximately 230 games. Currently residing fourth on the list is Devin Hester, with 10 such return touchdowns… in 27 games. Mathematically speaking, this is roughly the equivalent of a baseball player hitting 580 home runs in his first year and a half in the major leagues.
